Lindsay Brazell

Music Educator and Creative Professional

About Lindsay

I’m Lindsay, a music educator, a singer-songwriter, and a writer when time allows. You can find my latest album, The Room I Found  on iTunes.

I live in Greenville, South Carolina, with my husband, Kyle, who is also a choral director. Isn’t that cute? We are both currently pursuing doctoral degrees at The University of Southern Mississippi. We love music, cooking in and dining out, and visiting new cities.

On this site, you can find my blog, original music, compositions and arrangements, and the services I provide locally. Please feel free to contact me about any of these!

About the site:

I started this blog in 2010 as a means of sorting through all of the information I was learning, and all of the opinions I was developing, about music education. My hope is that it will help and inspire other music educators, teachers, students, and anyone who stumbles upon this site! As the site (and myself) have aged, it is evolved into a space for my personal projects, writing adventures, and hopefully, a resource for music education!

Typically, I post 1-2 blog posts a week. You can subscribe to get my posts directly to your email inbox so you don’t miss anything. My subscribers also receive my monthly newsletter with teaching tips, tricks, and special announcements.
Here are my top blog posts:

Please note: The contents of this blog are thoughts and opinions of my own and not my school or employer.
