Holy smokes. I can’t put this book down. Every educator should make this their summer reading, particularly the Atlanta school districts cutting music education programs.
Love this point that Robinson makes:
The world of education gets so wrapped up in the question “how intelligent are you?” The question we should be asking is, “How are you intelligent?” Not everyone is going to excel in materials presented on standardized tests, but their are so many other areas where we can have strengths: music, art, sports, science, business, relationships, writing, napkin folding, sewing, cooking, cartwheels…and even better, we can be intelligent in multiple areas!
My thoughts are brewing tonight, folks!
